Ralph ~ I believe I have been there only it was in Glendale, next town over. True? Great place to eat.
I did not know there were any more Big Boy's Restaurants still in business.
Looks like a real blast to the past! Sounds like it has great food too. I'm sure the locals appreciate the reminder of this great place to eat.
It's snowing here right now, so anywhere with palm trees sounds good to me! LOL!
Ralph, Oh my gosh … Bob’s Big Boy … I did not know they still existed anywhere. This brings back a lot of memories! What great fun.
We used to go there periodically when I was a kid. But, then my mom said 'no more' because she didn't (and still doesn't) think that burgers and fries are healthy. Now, what does she know?
Great localism post. Ditto on Melissa regarding fries, burgers and moms.
Used to go there often... glad there's still one around today!
So many great burger joints got their start in southern California. Big Boy and In 'N' Out are two of my favorites!
I love those restaurants! We still have a few here in KY but they are called Frishes Big Boy
I grew up down the street from a Bob's in Downey, miss the shakes in the silver goblets & spagetti with a slice of American cheese!
