Very good Ralph. I agree on all points. I often say that we are basically the same people today that we were as 5 year olds. We're just larger.

So that's why my head hurt so much back then, too much information in it! (kidding)  I agree, being courteous minimizes problems and will often go away.  The opposite is true however, treating others in a bad way leads to conflicts and resentment. So it pays to make nice or go home.

Hi Ralph... this is very sound advice.  Please and Thank you are some of the most underused words.

Or as one of my favorite prayers goes: "Oh Lord, please help my words to be sweet, for tomorrow I may have to eat them."

What exactly does #3 imply?  Is it that we should fall into line when someone in authority tells us to?  The Germans were the originators of Kindergarten.  Is this why maybe the Jews lined up so easily?

Maybe #3 should be something like "Ask why"

I think number three means to take your place in line and not be rude.  Also known as, take your turn when it is actually your turn.  As a native New Yorker, people in New York line up neatly, orderly, fairly, and properly.   In DC, people don't even know how to stand on a line properly, they are rude sometimes, and mill around.  That is my 2 cents.

Tim,

Take a chill pill, already.   Where is all this baggage spewing from?

What #3 means is don't let your overbearing sense of self-entitlement issues give you a false sense of superiority in a world of Billions of people.

Kind of what the pre WW2 German militia SHOULD have been thinking, don't you agree?
