So am I the only person who is a little dissappointed after seeing this movie?
It was kind of cool seeing some of the numbers. I thought Penelope Cruz actually did a pretty good job with her number even though she's not a singer. And her acting was excellent in this film.
Daniel Day Lewis was absolutely amazing.
But the storyline seemed to drag quite a bit throughout the film. You'd see a number and then, boom. It would start dragging on again.
Kate Hudson was great and her number was alot of fun. I loved Sophia Loren (I always have).
Nicole Kidman was sort of OK. Judy Densch was impeccable, as always.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this film a 7 at best due to the flavorless storyline.

I was contemplating seeing this movie with the Sherlock Holmes one and Avatar. I made the mistake of reading the reviews which torpedoed Sherlock and were 50/50 on Avatar. I hate reviewers, I mean the paid ones. They never like anything I like and when I go see the ones they recommend I always come out disappointed. This 'Nine' movie at least looked exciting and very European, and I thought it would be like a quick trip abroad. It is still on my list, but I think a nice dinner out at an Italian restaurant with some nice wine will be a good pre requisite. ;-)
Ralph - The only two movies that hold any interest for me are Sherlock Holmes and Avatar, based on the reviews and recommendations from friends and family. That being said, I probably won't get a chance to see either of them in the theater, since it's just plain hard to find a good sitter for four kids. :)
Ralph...Good review. Don't know what I think about seeing it.
