Wakefield Winter Wonderland - A must see for Santa Clarita residents

Went to the Annual Wakefiield Winter Wonderland this evening.

It really is a very special neighborhood Christmas light extravaganza.

It is on Wakefield court in the Saugus area of Santa Clarita.

It's such an extensive collaborative effort of all the residents on the street.  They have icicle lights running across from house to house and viewers in cars come from all areas just to see this wonderful event.

There's a wonderful story about how it all started after the 1994 earthquake when all the neighbors pooled together to support one another during a time of crisis.

I took several shots on my phone this evening, here's just a few:

Ralph - WOW!  How spectacular.  Hubby and I love seeing events like this.  Every year, we go and check out the Christmas Tree Ln. up in Oxnard, check out my latest post on it (you can delete this if you want).  Hubby and I need to now add Wakefield to our holiday visits.

Every city has the areas that seem to go way beyond. These look spectacular.

Those pictures are amazing - it can be challenging to capture night light photos -  kudos!

What a fabulous neighborhood!  I wish I could visit, I love it!  I especially am impressed with the icicles hanging across the street!  I can't imagine how time consuming this must have been to set up.  This neighborhood has real community spirit!

I certainly don't want any of those utility bills come January!

Happy Holidays!

Where exactly is this place?  I have googled it but it just brings me here and there are no directions or addresses.  Thanks,

Esther
