There are tons of things to do in Maui, but if you are in need of an extra relaxing day make sure you visit the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm. In Maui, we refer to the areas of Kula as "up country". The highest parts being called "upper Kula" and those areas of Kula closer to the bottom of the mountain as "lower Kula".
One of the many attractions in Kula is the beautiful lavender farm. At the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm you will find over 50,000 plants and almost 50 different types of lavender. After exploring the 14 acre grounds either on your own or through a guided walking tour take some time to grab lunch at their restaurant which offers amazing mountain top views of the Pacific, or enjoy a catered picnic lunch in a gazebo. When you’re done make sure to ask about the lavender treasure hunt which is a great activity for children and adults alike. Since lavender blooms all year, there is never a bad time to visit Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm.
