The Eaton Canyon Park and Nature Center is a 190 acre paradise and preserve, for wildlife of all sorts at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains.

The Eaton Canyon Park and Nature Center is perfect for field trips, hiking, picnics and so much more!

Did you know that Pasadena, Texas was named after Pasadena, California due to the resemblance that both cities have in common with each other?

Pasadena, California was incorporated in 1886. The reason for this was to eliminate saloons and all alcohol sales in the area. There was an ordinance passed in February 1887 that completely banned any alcohol in Pasadena.

The official flower of Pasadena became established on September 22, 1961!

Have you guessed the flower yet? Well the rose of course. It was not any particular kind of rose, just roses general!

The historic Millard House also known as the La Miniatura is located in Pasadena, California.

The Millard House was built in 1923 and is a Frank Lloyd Wright home.

This amazing home is in the textile block style that Mr. Wright was well known for in his designs.

In fact, the Millard house was the very first textile block home that Mr. Wright designed.

The house was owned by Alice Millard a rare book dealer for whom Mr. Wright built a home for in Highland Park, Illinois in 1906.

The Millard House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The Pasadena Playhouse Association was founded in 1917. The playhouse itself was completed and designed in 1925 in the Spanish Colonial Revival style by Elmer Grey an artist and designer.

Despite the many financial difficulties that the playhouse has endured, it still stands strong waiting for those to come and admire its beauty as well as its rich history!
