Our Non-Profit Charitable Foundation is up and running! - Kokku.org

We did it folks!  Kokku.org is now up and running!

Articles of Incorporation have been filed, 501(c) status has been approved by the IRS, bank accounts and credit card processing is set up, and the website and mobile website are up and running.  We actually had our first recipient issued a check, and video recorded!

Kokku, Inc. is a non-profit corporation and a community of people who share the vision of making the world a better place with the simple principle of Love for one another.

It is not a community with any type of religious or political affiliation. There is no place for that within the Kokku community.

The core of Kokku.org is people working TOGETHER to help one another. Kokku members are empowered with the ability to take matters that they hold dear to them into their own hands, and take action on them.

Our online format was designed for everyone to see, hear, and feel your effort of empathy and concern for your fellow beings all over the planet. You have the opportunity to see first hand where your generous donations go towards, and know that you were part of it.

Members of the Kokku Community make suggestions each month on potential recipients of the monthly funds. Based on that, each member votes on where they would like to see the community money for that money be given. All voting is done online and privately, and the survey results are posted in general on what the members voted for. No individual vote information is posted, just the results of the group for that month. You must be a member of the community in order to submit any possible monthly recipients for the funds.

Usually there will be 1 or 2 recipients chosen for our group funds each month, and a Kokku Ambassador will present the funds to each recipient. The contribution is on video so that each of us within the Kokku community can see where our contributions end up first hand, and through the amazing capabilities of technology and social media, you can feel the gift of love you've given to someone or something in need.

Become a Member!  I guarantee it will be one of the coolest decisions you've made.  Also consider becoming a Kokku Ambassador in your area.

It doesn't matter where you live, as long as someone in your area is willing to deliver a check to someone in need and take a smart-phone video of it, then Kokku can help someone in your community.  YOU have the power to bring help to someone you know in need, with all of the Kokku Community behind you!

Together, we can make the world what we all dream it can be. One person at a time, one dollar at a time, and one group effort at a time.
