A tucked away treasure in Beverly Hills, Historic Greystone Masion and Park, a 46,000 square ft. manor and 18.3 acre park, provides the public with a peak at what it must be like living in lavish opulence. Built in 1927 by Edward Doheny, Greystone is now a property owned and operated by the City of Beverly Hills, and opens its grounds to the public daily for FREE!
Draped in classical Italian grandeur, the lush grounds of the Greystone offers it all-- extravagant weddings, spectacular city views, scenic backdrops for film and television as well as elegant grounds for special events. Though the mansion is reserved for special events, you can meander about the secluded and romantic park-like grounds that feature a small lake, streams, waterfalls, pools, a pavilion, and many walkways.
This summer take advantage of the many exceptional Greystone special events open to the public throughout the year. "Tea and Talk" , a lecture series featuring the topic of interior design will be held at Greystone Mansion, specifically tea will be held on the terrace overlooking the city followed by the lecture held in the Mansion’s Living Room. Upcoming dates for "Tea and Talk" are Sunday, August 25 from 3:00-5:00pm titled: " So Much to Pick From... Oh My”; and Sunday September 22 from 3:00-5:00pm titled: “The Role of the Royal Mistress in the Design of Great French Palaces”. Another must-see special event at Greystone this summer is "The Manor: Murder and Madness at the Greystone Mansion", a series productions by of award-winning Theatre 40 at Greystone, dramatizing the Estate's mysterious history.
