Where do all of our problems come from in the real estate field? Well, let's see:
- Sellers who do not disclose
- Buyers who have hidden agendas
- Agents who are unethical
- Brokers who skirt around the rules
- Contractors who cut corners
- Lenders who rush people into loans that they're not qualified for
- A National Association that have their own agenda
Do any of these ring a bell? And there are dozens more where that came from.
Now, I'm not trying to paint a negative picture. The point I'm trying to make is that it probably would be heaven on earth if we could accomplish one goal over the next decade:
TRANSPARENCY
What if everyone were forthright? What if everyone were honest? What if everyone upheld their sense of ethics? What if there were no hidden agendas?
Transparency should be our goal over the next 10 to 20 years.
We have the ability to do it. But it starts with you.
Demand transparency from those around you.
Do not tolerate hidden agendas!! Believe it or not, you're actually part of the problem if you turn the other cheek.
You'll be making the world a better place by requiring those around you to be as transparent as you are.
