The Homestretch Greyhound Rescue and Adoption Foundation will be hosting a Meet & Greet on Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 11 am until 3 pm at Kriser’s in Santa Clarita, California.
This amazing foundation’s one mission is to help find loving homes for rescued retired racing Greyhounds, so they too can have a place to call home!
Greyhounds are such wonderful companions, but they continue to be bred for racing purposes only in the racing world. Once the racing world is finished with these beautiful dogs, they are pretty much disposed of like they are yesterday’s trash.
The Homestretch Greyhound Rescue and Adoption Foundation hosts monthly Meet and Greets all over the Ventura, Santa Barbara and Northern Los Angeles Counties, so that people can meet these wonderful Greyhounds and fall in love with them too!
While in this amazing foundation’s care, these wonderful dogs get everything they need to heal and rest, such as food & water, medical care, shelter from harm and what they need most of all, a loving environment.
