In honor of the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday November 25, 2010, I thought this would be a perfect moment to give thanks for places like the Los Angeles Mission in Los Angeles, California for those in need.
The Los Angeles Mission has been opened since 1936 and was founded by Reverend I.L. Eldridge. The Los Angeles Mission has been relocated three times throughout the years.
The current location since 1992 is a 156,000 square foot facility, located at 303 East 5th Street in Los Angeles, California.
This amazing place started out as a small rescue mission. As a non-profit, privately supported and faith-based organization, it is now known as the nation’s largest service providers to the homeless, which includes women and children.

This wonderful place has helped many people throughout the years get back on their feet and for that I am thankful!
