Los Angeles 411: Medieval Times, Buena Park

Carrying on a 1,000-year-old tradition of nobility, honor and service, The Medieval Times is much more than a dinner out with the kids-- it is a extraordinary experience that every member of the family will enjoy! When you step through the stone gates of the fortress-like 1,116 seat Spanish palace, you will be transported to life in the 11th century Medieval Spain.

Medieval Times, Buena ParkSink your teeth into a royal four-course feast as your meal literally drips from your fingers! Yes, that's right, you will be eating with your bare hands as 11th century folk certainly don't use utensils. During your extravagant meal you will be served garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, spare rib, herb-basted potato, pastry of the Castle and two beverages (a full-service bar is also offered for adults). Vegetarian plates are also available upon request.

While you eat, join in the most magnificent festivities as knights battle for the title of king's champion. Your eyes will be mesmerized by the colorful display of knight crests as they fight in jousting fashion and engage in other tests of skill—a tradition that has been taking place at The Medieval Times for over 30 years. And if your appetite has still not been satisfied, you can boogie down on the dance floor or appreciate the Hall of Arms displaying medieval artifacts or shriek at the medieval torture museum!Medieval Times, Buena Park
